Yosemite National Park: Picture is Worth 1000 Words
Thought I’d try something different this time. There is just too many wonderful things to say about this magical place. It’s gonna take me forever to sit down, go through all my photos and talk about the things I saw. So for now, I just wanted to give a quick update and share some photos!
I took two days to conquer as much of the park as I could. It’s huge. Bigger than I thought. I wish I had more time to complete more of the hikes and see way more. Unfortunately, I was on a time constraint. Late decisions to come to Yosemite also resulted in not being able to get accommodations in the Valley. We stayed in Sonora. 2 hours in and out of the park (Exhausting – but worth it) Half the time was spent driving up into the mountains and between points of interest. BUT..here’s a snippet of my grand tour.
Day 1: Yosemite Valley
- Merced River
- Bridal Veil Falls
- Yosemite Village
- Vernal Falls
- Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls
- Valley View
Day 2: Tuolumne Meadows & Glacier Point
- Rim of the World Vista (Stanislaus National Forest)
- Siesta Lake
- Olmstead Point
- Tenaya Lake
- Tuolumne Meadows
- Soda Springs
- Lembert Dome
- Glacier Point
- Tunnel View
So check out some photos below, and I’ll do a full Yosemite blog post/ guide when I’m not on the road. Stay tuned.
